So on Friday (May 5th), we didn’t have a whole lot planned, since we were going to spend Friday night on a train to Xian to see the Terra Cotta Warriors and stuff. Seeing as how we did absolutely NOTHING on Thursday except lie around and read books, we decided it would be a good idea to at least get out and go for a walk. Mom hadn’t been to the park where the Pop music festival was happening yet, so that’s where we headed out to.
Not much of a story, really, but it was nice to just spend the day with my Mom, and I managed to talk her into going up on the big parachute ride with me to get some way-up-high photos of the park. We also ate some yummy food, and watched little kids do little kid things. All in all, a pretty low-key day, but if you’d like to see some photos, you can do so right here.
